Blockchain Technology Symposium (BTS 2020)
Description
Blockchain Technology Symposium 2018 (BTS’ 18), a joint event of Ryerson University and the Fields Institute, was a forum where academic researchers, industry professionals, and decision makers came together to present recent advancements, discuss adoption barriers, tackle common challenges, and explore future roadmaps surrounding blockchain and its related technologies such as consensus algorithms, smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies.
As a followup to BTS’18 and by popular demand, BTS 2020 will gather a diverse set of audience from academia, industry and policy makers to engage in a dialogue around three main crucial topics in the adoption of blockchain technology. The aim is to bring these communities closer to address the challenges and seize the opportunities brought forward by this promising technology.
You could attend the entire event, one day, one session or just the session(s) that are of particular interest to you. Because we have been fortunate enough to have secured substantial sponsorship for the event, admission for the event is only $100 and it includes lunches and a reception.
This is a joint event between Ryerson University and the Fields Centre for Quantitative Analysis and Modelling
